How does Bookseed actually write the book?
It plans the book first: a specification, a title and a chapter outline. Then it writes every chapter, polishes each one for the page, paints a cover and typesets a PDF with page numbers and a table of contents. EPUB, Word and print files come with it.
What happens if I close the tab while it is generating?
Nothing is lost. Generation runs on our servers, not in your browser. Close the tab, shut your laptop, come back later. You get an email when the book is ready.
What can I read for free?
Every plan generates the whole book, cover included. On the free plan you can read the first two chapters in the flip-book preview, with no card needed.
What do credits pay for?
Generating a book. A lead magnet costs 25 credits, a how-to guide 40, a novel 90. Titles cost 1, a new outline 3 and extra covers cost extra. The price is shown before you confirm anything.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There is no contract. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like, and keep reading any book already in your library.
Is the finished book really mine?
Yes. The idea and the finished book are yours — publish it, sell it, print it. We claim no rights in either.
What if a chapter misses my voice?
Rewrite it. The first rewrite of every chapter is free; further rewrites cost credits, shown before you confirm.
